Fortune OS, the operating system for restaurants and cafés
Fortune OS is one application that runs a food and beverage venue from the first order to the end-of-day report. It ships as a browser app with desktop shells for macOS, Windows and Android, works in English, Russian and Arabic with full right-to-left layout, and exposes the same business data to AI agents through a Model Context Protocol server and a documented API.
What Fortune OS runs
- Point of sale: dine-in, takeaway and delivery orders, shifts, split bills, a per-bill lock and mock or terminal payments.
- Kitchen desk: a station board that mints tickets from sent orders and tracks preparation separately from the order status.
- Catalog: categories, items, variations, modifier sets and per-venue availability, editable from the app or through the MCP server.
- QR menu: a printed code per table resolves to a public guest menu with ordering straight into the point of sale.
- Tables and floor plan: sections, hotel-style numbering and an arrangeable floor editor.
- Staff, roles and permissions: role-based access with per-venue membership and an audit of who did what.
- Sales analytics and reports: gross, net and average-ticket figures in the venue's time zone, with CSV and PDF exports.
- Enterprise dashboard: granted multi-venue reporting for groups and franchises.
- Receipt printing: ESC/POS receipts, guest bills and numbered invoices, Arabic included.
Open to AI agents and integrations
Every merchant can mint an API key in the app and connect an AI client to the MCP server over streamable HTTP, or sign in through OAuth from a connector such as Claude. The server publishes typed tools for discovering reachable businesses, querying sales, reading order, item and payment evidence, enumerating merchant records and setting catalog availability. The developer documentation covers authentication, endpoints and example requests, the OpenAPI document describes the REST surfaces, and llms.txt is the reading map for agents.
